St Leonards Church in Thrybergh has important monuments which are under threat.  St Leonards is in the older, agricultural part of the village; St Peter's was built after the opening of Silverwood Colliery and that is where most of the activities take place today.  St Leonards is, therefore becoming redundant; that and lead thieves are combining to threaten the Monuments of the Reresby and Fullerton families.
