Blue Plaques
December the 5th, 2015
Recently we placed our seventh plaque on High Street.  In the New Year our eighth will be placed in the Reception area at TRC.  This will be in memory of Donald Bailey, the Civil Engineer who developed the Bailey Bridge which did so much to support the efforts of the Allied Armies during the Second World War.  Donald was a former pupil of Rotherham Grammar School.  The cost of the plaque has been met by Nora Platts and Pete Carpenter.

We are keen to continue to develop this scheme across the whole Borough.

These plaques have already been placed.
